So many lives were tragically lost, and countless families were torn apart. My heart aches for those we lost and for the ones still impacted by this ongoing conflict. But even in the face of pain, I’ve chosen to focus on love, strength, and resilience.

Why I Wrote This Book:
As a Jewish educator, I’ve always believed in the importance of fostering a strong Jewish identity. After October 7th, I knew I needed to do something to inspire my students and family to rise above fear and hatred. That’s where this book comes in—it focuses on the virtues (middot) and commandments (mitzvot) that have defined Jewish greatness for centuries.
